Our Mission is to provide environmental education and outdoor recreation to special needs children in Washington State. We develop physical and emotional confidence in these youth who due to their physical, cultural, or financial barriers would not otherwise have this opportunity.”

Fundraisers

WSI is a volunteer run organization relies heavily on donations and community support. Our fundraising events provide the majority of the revenue needed to make our programs possible. Stewardship

By providing outdoor education and recreation experiences, WSI aims to foster a sense of environmental stewardship in our participants. Through experiences at salmon hatcheries, bald eagle feeding grounds and Washington’s beautiful rivers and mountains, children learn to love and respect their natural surroundings. Read More…
